women, children and elderly were deprived of food for weeks and weeks. Many of
them did not see food for almost 3 weeks. Some ate leather and
shredded pieces of wood. Others ate dead animals while the
“civilized” world stood ineffective in helping the slaughtered Armenians. It
was worse than the Jewish Holocaust.
